This year I was successful in completing a sketch every day of the challenge from New Year’s Day through January 30th. What helped most was making almost all the sketches small, usually fitting several on a page.
As always for art challenge prompts I try to figure a way, if possible, to have a dog be the subject. Or at least an animal. So I really enjoyed that there were 10 prompts in this 2024 January sketching challenge that were “dog-able” ….my new word for “I can draw / paint a dog for this!” Extra fun that for a couple my own dogs were the models. Here’s some sketches from this year’s challenge:
