I am 2 weeks along in participating in another online artists’ challenge. It started Jan. 1st, and encourages a daily art effort similar to Inktober. This one though is for all kinds of drawing or painting types including digital, printmaking, collage and more. Each day the 1000+ artists use a specific prompt. It’s fun and inspiring to see all the different interpretations of the prompts so far. Here’s mine for: page of patterns, everyday object, leaves, circular, straight lines and angles, fruits and vegetables, fish, flowers, insects, something blue, food and drink, artistic alphabet, mandala, and something starting with P. I’m making it an extra goal to mostly use my not-so-favorite mediums.
