…more of 30 Day Sketchbook Challenge

I’m continuing to enjoy the #30daysketchbook2018 challenge. We’re now up to Day 24, have about 1350 artists around the globe participating, and nearly 8000 of our sketches posted in the challenge’s Facebook group. Here’s my latest efforts for the prompts: water, still life, time, quote-poem-word, fairy tale, outdoors, something I love, something I dislike, people watching, and space.

Dogs and art are lifelong interests. The family Sheltie was my babysitter from infancy. Childhood 4-H participation led to AKC competition in obedience, Jr. showmanship, conformation. In more recent decades have done hunt tests, field trials, and agility with my English Springer Spaniels. My art endeavors also go back to childhood. I create pet portraits in pen-and-ink, oil and mixed media.
