I’ve started this new oil portrait, by getting the first thin layer of the basic colors painted. The dog is “Roo”, field Springer Spaniel that is MH titled. The photographer really captured his love of working afield. While my work isn’t photorealistic, I do try to stay pretty faithful to the reference photo.
