I did a couple sketches for use on various items at the National Amateur Field Champion trial for English Cockers*, held last month in WI. Got a nice gift of a t-shirt from some of my spaniel friends who went back to compete in the championship. So though I can’t say been there, done that, I did get the t-shirt.
Portraits are my main focus, but I occasionally do designs like this for dog events. Will be working on one soon for the 24th annual “marathon” weekend of 4 spaniel hunt tests that my club helps host. I have a basic idea of spaniels silhouetted against “XXIV”.
* AKC field trials for Cockers are open to English and American Cockers, but usually field bred English Cockers are the only ones competing.
