After getting off to a good start in the #inktober2019 challenge, my progress was interrupted by a medical issue. In the middle of the night took myself to the ER thinking I might have appendicitis. Several tests later found out that I was passing a kidney stone. Thankfully I recovered okay and tests showed I don’t have another stone forming ….yet. Will get rechecked next year. Anyway, I got back into the ink challenge, some of the sketches are shown below.
Also shown is a recently finished oil portrait, and the start of a mixed media portrait. For those I start with watercolor. The work in progress pic shows the watercolor base about half way done, with ink and colored pencil stages still to come.
