Work in progress — here are two mixed media dog portraits I’m working on. I started them with watercolor, and have used some colored pencil on the water to even out that background. Soon will finish up the watercolor base and be doing much more colored pencil and a bit of ink.
As part of my 2020 art goals (remember the “Goals” prompt of the sketchbook challenge?) I have ordered some linocut supplies and have a printmaking project in mind. Stay tuned for posts on that.
Hope everyone is keeping healthy! Am watching the Coronavirus situation unfold, especially here in Washington state I wonder how much more widely it will spread…
